I have been writing stories since I was eight years old. I won an elementary school writing competition for a story about a Horse and a Rabbit. After that I thought I could make it. Dreaming of writing a story that would one day reach the hearts of millions. I wanted to be one of the great fantasy writers. I wanted to see my stories out there. Ironic since coming back to writing I have started writing in a completely different genre. Now I focus on supporting other Indie Authors and writing what I enjoy. 

Years of writing produced nothing worth people’s money. Rejection letter after rejection letter. The heart-break of rejection and learning that my alpha reader at the time was not even looking at my work caused me to give up writing for a few years. Dropping dead weight from my life allowed me to find my inspiration again. I went through so much after COVID. I was cheated on and went through a divorce after eleven years of narcissistic abuse. I went through years of therapy and healing, just to be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024. My life was falling apart but my best friend and partner said, “Nope, you aren’t giving up. I will make sure you get through this.” He encouraged me to write and escape my pain. So here I am back in the writing world. 

New life situation and a new hope for the future has given me back my love for storytelling. Growing up in the Mojave of southern California to settle in the Great Basin of northern Nevada, has given me a unique perspective on desert life and the amazing collection of life that surrounds me. This haunting desert inspired my first short story collection focusing on more obscure desert history and features.
